Parsan Sanat Aria's Warranty

This warranty is issued in accordance with the quality and technical specifications of Gretsch-Unitas Germany, and applies only to GU hardware and fittings. It shall remain valid only if the product has been supplied via the official representative or GU-approved channels. If, however, the product has been acquired outside the authorized representative network, then all warranty obligations of GU shall be null and void with respect to that product.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

This warranty covers the entire product and its original, integrated components. It shall remain valid exclusively throughout the warranty period and on the condition that all terms outlined in this document are fully adhered to.

Items covered under the warranty

Correct operation of fittings during opening and closing when installed to standard specifications. Quality of metal, plastic, and coated surfaces (excluding rust and unusual color change). Any malfunction resulting from factory defects in GU's manufacturing process.

Warranty Exclusions

Improper installation Mechanical/physical damage Damage caused by moisture, or by the use of unsuitable paints or materials Failure to perform periodic maintenance and servicing Repair, adjustment, or tampering with the product by unauthorized personnel Use of non-original (non-genuine) parts

Periodic Maintenance

Lubrication of the product's moving parts and locking points. Main load-bearing components must be inspected periodically. Use non-abrasive cleaning and protective agents with chemically compatible formulations. Clean using a soft cloth, without the use of acidic substances, solvents, or thinners.

DECLARATION

Any defect, failure, or malfunction covered under this warranty must be reported in writing to GU Company or its authorized representative within seven (7) working days of its discovery. Failure to notify within this period shall result in forfeiture of the warranty rig

After-Sales Service Request

Contact the after-sales service department at GU Company's offices or its authorized representative in your country. Provide a valid warranty number along with a detailed description of the reported defect or issue. The service department will carry out a preliminary review and register the request within a maximum of three (3) working days. If necessary, a technical site inspection will be conducted within a maximum of seven (7) working days.

Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to the complete product, including all integrated and genuine components, and shall remain valid only if the following conditions are strictly met throughout the warranty period. If any circumstances are found to be inconsistent with the provisions set forth herein, then all responsibilities and obligations arising under this warranty shall immediately cease and be of no further effect. In such cases, the final decision rests solely with the Technical Manager of GU or its authorized representative in the applicable country.

Items Covered Under Warranty

  • Correct opening and closing operation of the hardware, provided that installation has been carried out under standard, GU‑approved conditions.
  • The quality of all metal components, plastic parts, and surface coatings — however, this shall not extend to damage resulting from rusting or unusual discoloration, which are expressly excluded from coverage.
  • Any failure or malfunction directly attributable to factory defects originating from the manufacturing process at GU.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

The installation of products covered by this warranty must be carried out solely in workshops and factories that hold a valid, dated official training certificate issued by GU. Presenting a certificate without a validity date will not be accepted, and the warranty shall be rendered invalid.

The product must be used exclusively within the limits set forth in the technical specifications published by GU (including dimensions, permissible sash weight, and all other technical requirements), and must be properly matched to the profile system of the door or window in which it is installed.

Installation and assembly of the products within door and window manufacturing facilities must be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements set out in GU's catalogs, instruction manuals, and technical installation drawings.

Any failure, malfunction, or breakdown resulting from defects in other components, incorrect system selection, or improper installation on the door or window shall not be covered under this warranty. The technical determination of such matters shall rest exclusively with the Technical Manager of GU or its authorized representatives in each respective country.

If any component of the installed product requires replacement, such replacement must be carried out solely by authorized personnel of the door/window manufacturer or by GU‑approved representatives.

Any failure or breakdown resulting from improper use or from operation outside the defined standard limits shall not be covered by this warranty. This includes:

The presence of any foreign objects that obstruct or impede the normal operation of the door or window fitted with this hardware.

Imposing excessive loads on the product beyond the permissible limits stated (for example, children hanging or swinging on the sashes, and similar cases).

Any other form of misuse as explicitly detailed in the product catalogs and technical instructions.

During any construction work or surface finishing operations (such as painting, plastering, cutting, and similar activities) carried out in the vicinity of doors or windows equipped with these products, the hardware must be fully protected at all times against soiling, blockage, or damage of any kind.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage:

  • Improper installation by the installer, or use of unauthorized supplementary hardware or tools.
  • Mechanical damage resulting from impacts, excessive force, or abnormal loading.
  • Failures caused by excessive moisture, chemical substances, corrosive fumes, or the use of unsuitable paints or materials.
  • Failure to perform regular maintenance and servicing, improper cleaning, or incorrect lubrication.
  • Any repair, adjustment, or modification carried out by unauthorized personnel.
  • Use of non-genuine parts as replacements, or combination of the product with other hardware not covered under this warranty.

Periodic Maintenance

At least once a year, the following maintenance must be carried out:

  • Moving parts of the product and locking points must be lubricated and checked for proper operation.
  • Load-bearing components must be inspected periodically.
  • If necessary, adjustment screws must be tightened, readjusted, or replaced.
  • The use of non-abrasive cleaning and preservative agents with chemical compositions compatible with the product's anti-corrosion (rust-proof) coating is permitted.
  • Hardware must be cleaned with a soft cloth, without the use of acidic substances, solvents, or thinners.
  • Any observed defects or performance issues must be reported to the official GU representative within a maximum of (seven working days).

DECLARATION

Any defect, failure, or malfunction covered under this warranty must be reported in writing to GU or its official representative within a maximum of (seven working days) from the date of observation.

Late notification of a defect will result in forfeiture of the right to claim under this warranty.

The defect report must be submitted in a complete and clear manner, and must include at least the following:

  • A detailed description of the problem or defect observed.
  • Images or video of the defective component or improper operation.
  • Complete project information and relevant warranty details.

After-Sales Service Procedure

  • Contact the after-sales service department of GU's offices or its official representative in each country.
  • Provide a valid warranty number along with a description of the reported defect or issue.
  • Preliminary review and registration of the request by the service department within a maximum of three working days.
  • Technical inspection at the project site, if necessary, within a maximum of seven working days.
  • If a technical defect covered under warranty is confirmed, the product will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the provisions of this warranty.

This warranty does not replace the technical installation and maintenance instructions set forth in GU's official catalogs, and full compliance with those instructions is mandatory.
